VIDEO: Live in the studio (Jaunpuri)

Drone synth improvisation based very loosely in the North Indian raga Jaunpuri. Two synths are set to auto-trigger to sustain the drone. These are the Make Noise 0-Coast and the Behringer Neutron. There are plenty of cross modulations between the two and the Roland System 1m, which is the lead synth being triggered by the KeyStep. The BeatStep Pro is triggering some drums in Ableton, and three pads are routed to trigger various envelopes on the 0-Coast and the Neutron. The Roland Juno 60 has its filter being modulated by my custom Max For Live plugin CuatroMod—two sets of two cross modulated oscillators that can then cross modulate each other. All was recorded and mixed in Ableton Live. Video shot on GoPro, iPhone, and a webcam, and edited in DaVinci Resolve.
