Gato Malo was a kind of experiment by consummate Boston-based front man Shaun Wolf Wortis (Slide, Bearmonster).
Whenever he booked Gato Malo, he would call for some of his MANY talented musician friends to show up at the venue. No rehearsals. Wolf would just call out the key, and the band would just...play. Different line-up each time! I've played with Gato Malo shows where the band members were introducing ourselves to each other on stage. AND IT WAS ALWAYS AWESOME!
